Organisation : Jugendtreff Käl/Téiteng

Témoignage : In 2013, I participated for the first time in an Erasmus project because a friend from a participating organisation advised me to take part in a training course and find out how Erasmus can change youthwork in Luxembourg.
So, I joined the famous Tic Tac training course, and my friend was right. This training changed everything. Why? Because I finally saw the opportunities I could offer young people by participating in the Erasmus programme.
Since then I attended many more training courses and after some time I dared to organise my own project for young people in my youth center. And so the Idea of "Active Change Makers", a key action 1 project with two youth exchanges in Luxembourg. We cooperated with really good partners, such as “NaturKultur” in Germany. This project became famous in my city. The young participants camped in a public park and people wanted to know what it was about and other additional young people joined because they saw us camping. And so the adventure began. The project changed many youngsters’ view of how to be active in society, both on a national and on a European level. Some of them are nowadays trainers themselves or are organising their own Erasmus+ project. For me, this is Erasmus teaching: learning from each other in a really nice environment allowing to have fun and important workshops. At that time, Erasmus completely changed my youth work and today I am happy that I am still doing some projects.
